Your development

Please note, the Redcliffe Global Community blog has been replaced by a new Redcliffe blog integrating current and former student stories plus much more: Training for Mission

You’ve spent time at Redcliffe training to play your part in God’s mission to the world. But training isn’t a one off event, and we are committed to resourcing you further.

Encounters is our bi-monthly mission ezine tackling the latest issues in mission thinking. Previous issues have looked at topics such as Islam, Mission in Europe and Mission Training. There are also book reviews and a discussion board for you to add your own comments. To receive news of the latest edition when it comes out, sign up online.

You may also want to consider further study for your Continuing Professional Development. There are several Master’s programmes on offer at Redcliffe:

Postgraduate MA in Global Issues in Contemporary Mission
Postgraduate MA in Intercultural Studies in Asian Contexts
Postgraduate MA in Global Leadership in Intercultural Contexts (subject to validation)
Postgraduate MSc in Sport and Christian Outreach

Redcliffe also offers the possibility of PhD level research in a mission or theology-related topic, supervised by a team that includes a Redcliffe lecturer and a University of Gloucestershire lecturer.

Finally, our Flexible Learning Mode MA is a great way to enhance your learning while combining study with work commitments. For the first two years, students attend Redcliffe for an annual, three-week summer school, and then do personal study with email support from tutors throughout the rest of the year. Your dissertation is completed over the next 12 – 18 months.

If you are on home assignment or need some time to think and reflect, you are welcome to come to Redcliffe to recharge your batteries. We also offer a re-entry and debriefing service to all those returning from the mission field.
